Miles for MS is back this May! The path of MS is rarely straightforward, so why not make your challenge what you want it to be?

You pick the distance and how you will complete it - it’s your challenge, your way! Whether you walk, run, wheel, scoot, swim, arm cycle or something else, the choice is yours. Get involved with this accessible event and together we can make a difference for people with MS.

How to get involved

To join our Miles for MS 2024 team, follow these four simple steps:

Set up your JustGiving page and share it with everyone you know.

When can I take part in Miles for MS?

You can take part in Miles for MS from 1 – 31 May 2024. A whole month to complete your challenge, your way

What types of things can I do for Miles for MS?

Whether it's one mile or 100 miles, you pick how far you want to go and do it your way. Walk, run, wheel, scoot, swim, arm cycle, or something else.... it's up to you. You can even switch between activities to mix it up!

Is there a minimum sponsorship?

No, we just ask that you raise as much as you can, and if you raise over £150, you'll also get a special 'Miles for MS' medal to wear with pride.

How much is it to sign up?

You can sign up for free and once you have raised over £10 you will be sent an MS Trust t-shirt.

How do I track my miles?

You can track your miles by connecting your Strava or Fitbit to your JustGiving page or use the tracker sheet we will send you.

Can I take part with a team?

Yes, the more the merrier! First, sign up individually with your own fundraising page and then link it to a team page. Your team page will show all team members and the amount of sponsorship collected as a team total.

How can I take part if I find it difficult to get around?

Each Miles for MS challenge is individual, so set a target that you feel is achievable for you. Perhaps you could walk to the end of your garden and back each day, or go around the block in your mobility scooter? Don’t worry if you need to change the distance part way through, as you choose how far you go and how you complete it!

About Miles for MS

Since Miles for MS launched in 2018, our amazing Miles for MS stars have raised more than £375,000! Miles for MS has always been focused on being accessible, customisable and promoting a positive spirit for all in the MS community. Registration is free and open now. When you sign up you will be able to set up a personalised fundraising page where you can track your progress, view funds raised and you will be sent an MS Trust t-shirt once you have raised over £10. When you finish, we will send you a certificate and if you raise over £150 you will also receive a special ‘Miles for MS’ medal to wear with pride.

To sign up for Miles for MS you need to be 16 years old or over. If you are under 16, please ask a parent or guardian to sign up on your behalf (using their name and email address). Why not get them involved in your challenge too?
